Steers handled well through the assessment process. Steers flowed efficiently throughout the back yards & force. 9 steers became agitated in weigh station exiting with haste, 6 steers continued to be alert post assessment. Steers were accommodating when released in holding paddock, being maneuvered around on foot without issue for photos & videos.

90 - Vendor bred EU accredited Angus steers presenting in healthy store to forward store condition. Steers are bred from a reputable base of Angus genetics from the renowned "Farleigh" herd, based predominately on Kansas Angus & more recently Bald Blair Angus genetics, with a particular focus on using bulls with high index's for IMF & Long Fed traits. Steers are the 2nd draft of the 2022 drop steers, presenting in ideal feeder condition.A compensatory weight gain would be expected given a rise in nutrition. Purchasers please note: Steers have received 2 x Bovilis MH+IBR vaccinations with the most recent 3 weeks prior to assessment, batch, bottle numbers & expiry dated are listed in media. Sale of steers presents an opportunity to purchase a genuine line of Vendor bred, EU accredited Angus steers to take on & further background or feed for either Domestic, Export or Angus specific long fed feedlot markets.
